learning

Already from the name it becomes clear that in the center of personality-centered educational technologies is a person. Their goal is not to form the initial cognitive abilities of the student, but to develop them as much as possible on the basis of the child’s life experience. High efficiency of modern educational technologies of this type has already been proven. This is confirmed by their wide application.

There are several methods of modern educational technologies.

Problem-based learning, in which the teacher presents new material not in a complete, prepared format, but only the most essential part of it. For further study, the teacher gives tasks of research training character, allowing students to independently absorb the necessary amount of knowledge. Thus, students also get practical experience in problem solving. In the process of acquiring knowledge and skills students also form creative thinking.

Multilevel education implies such a variant of organization of learning process, so that the teacher, paying more attention to “weak” students, does not hamper the progress of stronger students. As a result, those who are struggling get the support they need from the teacher, and the successful students gain confidence in their abilities.

Project-based methods allow students to consciously approach the choice of their future profession, develop their creative abilities, and satisfy their need to acquire new knowledge.

Research methods focus on creating conditions in which students can independently increase their knowledge, find cognitive information in a convenient format, and look for opportunities to solve creative assignments. In other words, exploratory methods of modern educational technology broaden students’ horizons and allow them to independently choose the speed and direction of their development.

Collaborative learning technology involves an educational process in which children and older people participate together. This methodology is based on the fact that the teacher approaches teaching according to the scheme “from the student to the subject”, and not vice versa. Thus, the teaching process is based on the child’s capabilities and needs.

The information and communication methods are characterized by voluminous educational content, which is provided through the use of integrated programs and access to the Internet.

Health-preserving methods imply an equal distribution of workload on students. Here a reasonable alternation of tasks is used, mental activity is combined with minutes of physical training. The teacher determines the optimal time for mastering complex material, independent work of pupils, and also applies technical means that increase the efficiency of learning.

In order to improve the effectiveness of the modern classroom it is necessary to rethink the position of the teacher, to change his approach not only to the need to introduce new technologies, but also to improve his personal skills.
